UW-La Crosse men | Loras women |
“The Wisconsin-La Crosse men's and Loras College women's indoor track and field teams came out triumphant at the 2024 NCAA Division III indoor track and field championships. Both teams celebrated at the Virginia Beach Sports Center in Virginia Beach, Virginia, hosted by Norfolk State.
The Wisconsin-La Crosse men's program claimed another title this year after coming out on top in last year's championships. The team placed fourth after the first day of events but came out on top to grab the title with 74 points.
Loras College women's team held on to first place throughout the two-day competition. They won the title with 51 points after nabbing two first-place finishes in the first day of events.

The national quarterfinals of the NCAA Division III women’s ice hockey championship take place on Saturday at four locations, while the men’s team whittles its field from 13 to eight.

4. North Central Finishes 2nd at NCWWCs

Defending national champion North Central was in a position to repeat its 2023 National Collegiate Women’s Wrestling Championship (NCWWC) entering the final match of the night but just fell short to finish second behind the University of Iowa. DIII crowned a pair of champions in the Cardinals’ Amani Jones at 123 and New Jersey City’s Sandra Guerreo at 191.

5. Lightning Round
» Baseball. McDaniel freshman Patrick Kelly hit a pair of grand slams, powering the Green Terror to a 17-4 victory against New England College on Saturday.
» Skiing. Middlebury was the top DIII school, finishing 10th at the NCAA Skiing Championships. Colby placed 14th, while Bowdoin and St. Lawrence also finished in the top 20 at 16th and 17th, respectively.
