TOP STORY
1. Ivanyo, Bruns Named Jostens’ Trophy Recipients

The DIII basketball award season has come to a close with the selection of NYU’s Natalie Bruns and Anderson’s Tate Ivanyo as the 2025 recipients of the Jostens Trophy, presented by the Rotary Club of Salem, Va.

The 27th annual award recognizes the most outstanding men’s and women’s DIII basketball players of the year. The award focuses on basketball ability, academic prowess, and service to one’s surrounding communities.

In recognition of their awards, a $1,000 scholarship will be presented to both institutions in honor of former Salem Rotarian Dan Wooldridge, who served as the first commissioner of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference.
